While I like Twilight Sparkle/Flash Sentry, I think Twilight and Gizmo make a cute couple cause they're both nerds. But now I think Gizmo and Frazzle Rock are a perfect match. For the Equestria Girls characters, I ship Micro Chips and Sci-Twi, Sugarcoat and Clayton Potter, Pepper Twist and Varsity Trim, and Celery Stalk and Alizarin Bubblegum (unless the latter two pairs are related).
In my personal canon, the show and the G1 cartoon take place in the same universe, with the G1 cartoon happening in the distant past. Twilight Sparkle, Spike and Applejack are the descendants of Twilight, G1 Spike and G1 Applejack, respectively. Inspired by my favorite fanfic The Elements of Harmony and the Savior of Worlds.
I also consider this to be a separate pony from Golden Harvest, and replace the carrot with a different cutie mark.
